Notes |
- Thomas Swann was Mayor of Baltimore from 1856-1860 and had been President of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad from 1848-1853. He became the 37th Governor of the State of Maryland on 10 Jan 1866. On the 1870 census his estate was valued at $1 million with another $400,000 in real estate.
