| Notes |
- Isaac Hazlehurst was educated at the University of Pennsylvania and Trinity College, Hartford, Ct. where he graduated in 1828. He was admitted to the Philadelphia bar in 1831. He was a member of the State Assembly; elected City Solicitor in 1854; in 1856 was nominee for Mayor of Philadelphia, and in 1857 was a candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania.
He was Vice Provost of the Law Academy 1841-1855; Trustee for the Pennsylvania Institute for Deaf and Dumb; member of Board of Counsel House of Refuge; member of the American Philosophical Society and director of several insurance companies.
According to the funeral director's note he is probably buried in "L H", Laurel Hill Cemetery.
