    • Ferdinand Latrobe was a great-grandson of Jean Joachim Latrobe and added notes to his ancestor's, "Livre de Raison" down to 1929. He was a judge in Nancy. He also wrote poetry. He was a godfather of Maurice Latrobe, President of ALIS. He had corresponded with Edna Claiborne Latrobe, who died in 1949 in Cape Province, South Africa. He met Daisy La Trobe, daughter of Charles Joseph La Trobe.
