- He named his son, Anthoine, as his universal heir. In 8 April 1642 he was named in the will of Pierre Latrobe, his uncle, married to Florette Blanc, as "his special and general heir".
Jean Latrobe was involved with the sharing of goods as his wife, Isabeau Alaux, inherited one-half of the house of her father, Bernard Alaux. Her sister, Lizette Alaux, shared the other half of the house. See #284a (1638).
