    • Henry marched as a cadet under Capt. Ralph Faulkner early in 1776 and was commissioned ensign in the 5th Virginia Regiment on 25 March 1776, second lieutenant on 13 Dec 1776, was wounded at Brandywine on 11 Sep 1777, and retired from service 14 Sep 1778.
